Right, it’s been a long, long, long hot summer (night), as far as my eyes could see – as close as it gets around these parts anyway.

After an initial dipping of the toe in the hot wort of Manchester beer making and a subsequent brief hibernation (no one’s gonna tell SMB summers not the right time to sleep, eh?!) it’s time to continue what we’ve been on the road towards for what seems like many, many (many!) months, years even.It’s been a bit surreal so far but with fresh beer, ridiculous amounts of new beer paraphernalia, lots of general back slapping, ideas that need using or losing, pressure from all sides (all self-inflicted!), new tax forms, labels, grain, hops and whatever else I’m about to realise is needed to do this we’re actually ready to give this brewery thing a go…so here’s to it.!

We’ve got three beers available, mules shortly to be on the loose in the local area (no animals will be harmed), lots of interest, a night slotted at cracking restaurant in Manchester and lots of work to be done.

We’re always on the lookout for something new, interesting (anyone seen helium infused beer clip on Utube?) or something we’ve just not tried before, so feel free to get in touch…trying to get on the other side of town.
